For a plain band, it comes down to the Classic 2mm or the Low Dome Comfort Fit 3mm. If you want diamonds and lab-grown is fine with you, the Petite Twist is the lowest-priced diamond band of the seven. If lifetime warranty cover matters to you, check which side of Blue Nile's warranty threshold your ring sits on before you choose. These seven bands are what Blue Nile's women's wedding ring page returned when we read it on 14 October 2026. They were listed from $280 for a plain 2mm yellow gold band to $2,620 for a lab-grown diamond eternity ring, with a median of $980.
Treat them as a sample of the range, not the full catalogue. The figures are listed prices, not what buyers paid, and the ring descriptions come from Blue Nile's own listings. Blue Nile was also running a promotion called The Fall Edit (up to 30% Off Select Jewelry) at the time, and we couldn't confirm whether any of these listed prices reflect it.
Key takeaways
- •The seven bands Blue Nile's women's wedding ring page returned on 14 October 2026 were listed from $280 to $2,620, with a median of $980.
- •For a plain band, pick the 2mm Classic ($280) to stack with an engagement ring, or the 3mm Low Dome Comfort Fit ($716) to wear on its own.
- •If lab-grown is acceptable, the Petite Twist ($780) lists more diamonds and a higher colour grade than the natural Riviera Pavé ($980).
- •Three of the seven are named eternity rings, and Blue Nile's free resize only applies if the design permits. Ask whether yours qualifies, and get sized properly before you order.
- •The lifetime warranty applies to gold and platinum items at $1,000.00 or more and excludes lost or damaged stones. The product pages and the return policy page give different return windows, so confirm yours before you buy.
What do Blue Nile's women's wedding bands cost?
Here are all seven, from lowest to highest listed price, with the diamond details as Blue Nile lists them. The approximate total carat weight comes from each listing's specifications, and on several rings it doesn't match the fraction in the ring's name.
| Ring | Metal | Diamonds (as listed) | Listed price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic Wedding Ring (2mm) | 14k yellow gold | None | $280 |
| Low Dome Comfort Fit Wedding Ring (3mm) | 14k yellow gold | None | $716 |
| Petite Twist Lab-Grown Diamond Eternity Ring | 14k yellow gold | 44 lab-grown rounds, about 0.18 ct, G-H, SI1, pavé | $780 |
| Riviera Pavé Diamond Ring | 14k white gold | 21 natural rounds, about 0.15 ct, H-I, SI1-SI2, pavé | $980 |
| Dot Dash Diamond Ring | 14k yellow gold | 3 natural baguettes listed, about 0.15 ct, G-H, SI1, prong | $1,065 |
| French Pavé Diamond Eternity Ring | Platinum | 25 natural rounds, about 0.95 ct, H-I, SI1-SI2, French-cut pavé | $1,470 |
| Low Dome Basket Lab-Grown Diamond Eternity Ring | 14k white gold | 18 lab-grown rounds, about 3.18 ct, F-G, VS2-SI1, prong | $2,620 |
Four of the seven are 14k yellow gold, and their median listed price is $748, under the $980 median for the whole sample. Don't read that as yellow gold being cheaper at Blue Nile. Both plain bands happen to be yellow gold, the two most expensive rings aren't, and no design here appears in two metals, so there's no same-design comparison to make.
The median lands on the Riviera Pavé, which matters for one practical reason: it's listed just under the price where Blue Nile's lifetime warranty kicks in. More on that below.
Which plain gold band should you choose?
If the band's job is to sit quietly beside an engagement ring, start with the Classic Wedding Ring. Blue Nile pitches it as a complement to any gold engagement ring that 'strikes the slimmest outline at only 2mm wide.' At $280, it's also the lowest listed price in the sample we read.

The Low Dome Comfort Fit is the one to weigh if this will be your only ring, or if you want a band with more presence. It's 3mm wide, and Blue Nile describes a high polish with a 'premium-weight feel', a low-profile exterior and 'gently curved interior edges' for everyday wear. Comfort fit means the inside is rounded rather than flat, which many people find slides over a knuckle more easily. It lists at $716, a clear step up from the Classic.

Our lean: the Classic if you're stacking, the Low Dome if it's going on alone. Both listings are 14k yellow gold, so if you'd rather have a plain band in white gold or platinum, ask Blue Nile whether either design comes in another metal. Still working out how the two rings go together? Our guide to engagement ring vs wedding ring covers the basics.
Which mid-priced diamond band has the better spec?
If lab-grown diamonds are fine with you, the numbers point to the Petite Twist. It's two intertwining bands, one of micropavé-set lab-grown diamonds and one of solid 14k yellow gold. The specifications list 44 round lab-grown diamonds, G-H colour and SI1 clarity, at $780. The listing also notes that the stone count and total weight change with ring size.

The Riviera Pavé is the natural-diamond choice, and the one to look at if you want white gold. Blue Nile describes a single row of pavé-set round brilliants and presents it as either a wedding or an anniversary band. Its specifications list 21 natural diamonds, H-I colour and SI1-SI2 clarity, in rhodium-finished 14k white gold, at $980.

Side by side, the Petite Twist lists more stones and a higher colour grade for less money, while the Riviera gives you natural diamonds and white gold. They're different products, so this isn't a like-for-like diamond comparison. Still, if lab-grown is acceptable, the Petite Twist has the stronger spec sheet. One thing to know about the Riviera: rhodium on white gold is a plating that wears with daily use, so expect to have it redone now and then. If you haven't made up your mind on lab-grown, start with our guide to lab-grown engagement rings.
What do you get for the money in the top three?
The Dot Dash is the only design here that isn't a row of matching round stones, and it has the most confusing listing. Blue Nile calls it an anniversary ring. The description mentions 'a variety of diamond shapes', naming princess, round and baguette cuts, and says it matches another Blue Nile ring by stock number. The specifications tell a different story: three natural baguettes, prong set, G-H colour, SI1 clarity and about 0.15 ct in total, against the 1/4 ct. tw. in the ring's name. It lists at $1,065. Before you order, ask Blue Nile exactly which stones you'd get and what they weigh in total.

For natural diamonds all the way round, look at the French Pavé in platinum. Blue Nile describes French pavé-set round diamonds, and the specifications list 25 stones, about 0.95 ct in total, H-I colour and SI1-SI2 clarity. It's the only platinum ring in the sample, listed at $1,470. Torn between platinum and white gold? Our platinum vs white gold comparison sets out the trade-offs.

The Low Dome Basket carries by far the most diamond weight in the sample, all of it lab-grown. Blue Nile describes 3 ct. tw. of lab-grown diamonds 'in a never-ending loop' on a low dome 14k white gold band. The specifications list 18 round stones, about 3.18 ct in total, F-G colour, VS2-SI1 clarity, prong set, with a rhodium finish. At $2,620, it's the highest listed price we read. Fewer stones carrying that much weight means each one is bigger, and prong-set stones sit up off the band. As a general rule, that makes them likelier to catch on knitwear than a low pavé row.

Between the top two, diamond type decides it. The Basket lists about 3.18 ct of lab-grown stones; the French Pavé lists about 0.95 ct of natural ones. Want a bold eternity look and happy with lab-grown? Take the Basket. If natural stones or platinum are the point, take the French Pavé.
Which bands can be resized, and which does the warranty cover?
Aim to size the eternity rings right the first time. Blue Nile's warranty page offers one free resize, up or down two sizes, for up to 6 months after purchase, but only 'if the design permits', and three of these seven are named eternity rings. Ask Blue Nile whether the one you want qualifies before you rely on that offer. Its ring sizers go by standard mail and typically arrive in five to seven business days, so order one before you buy. For what resizing costs elsewhere, see our ring resizing cost guide.
The limited lifetime warranty covers gold and platinum items with a purchase price of $1,000.00 or more against manufacturing defects, for as long as you own the jewelry. Blue Nile's protection plans page words the threshold as over $1,000; at these seven listed prices, the difference doesn't matter. What does matter is that the threshold is based on what you pay. If a discount pulls a qualifying ring below it, ask Blue Nile whether the warranty still applies to your order.
| Ring | Listed price | Named as eternity ring | At or above warranty threshold at listed price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic (2mm) | $280 | No | No |
| Low Dome Comfort Fit (3mm) | $716 | No | No |
| Petite Twist | $780 | Yes | No |
| Riviera Pavé | $980 | No | No |
| Dot Dash | $1,065 | No | Yes |
| French Pavé | $1,470 | Yes | Yes |
| Low Dome Basket | $2,620 | Yes | Yes |
Look closely at what the warranty leaves out: it excludes 'lost, chipped or damaged diamonds or gemstones', and on a pavé or eternity band a lost stone is a real risk. For that, look at insurance. Blue Nile has arranged access to Jewelers Mutual for U.S. and Canadian customers (excluding Quebec) customers, with cover against loss, theft, damage and mysterious disappearance. Blue Nile also says it does not sell or recommend insurance, so weigh that policy against any cover you already have.
What should you ask Blue Nile before you pay?
- The return window. The return policy page says returns must be started within 30 days of the shipment date, counted from when the order ships, not when it arrives. The product listings show a longer window in their details. Ask which applies to your order and keep the chat or email reply.
- Your return allowance. The policy says 'two complimentary returns are allowed per customer, per year.' Beyond that, return shipping may be on you. Items must show no signs of wear or alteration, so be careful when you try the ring on.
- Whether your size is made to order. For made-to-order and custom orders, changes or cancellations may be requested within 24 hours of payment, and custom orders are non-refundable once customization or production has started.
- Stone count and total weight at your size. Three listings say these vary with ring size, and the Dot Dash description and specifications don't agree.
- Whether the listed price includes the current promotion, and whether a discount moves the ring across the warranty threshold.
- Delivery. Blue Nile says shipping is free with no minimum, and that speed depends on order value: Overnight for orders over $500, two-day for orders under $500. Damaged or missing items must be reported within five days of receipt.
Customer service is available 7 days a week, 5 am to 2 am EST, so there's no reason to check out with any of these unanswered. For our full take on the retailer, read the Blue Nile review. If you want to see who else is worth shopping, our best jewelry stores guide covers the alternatives.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a women's wedding ring cost at Blue Nile?
Across the seven listings Blue Nile's women's wedding ring page returned on 14 October 2026, prices ran from $280 for a plain 2mm 14k yellow gold band to $2,620 for a lab-grown diamond eternity ring, with a median of $980. That's a sample of the range, not the whole catalogue.
Will Blue Nile resize an eternity wedding band?
Don't count on it. The warranty page offers one free resize, up or down two sizes, within 6 months of purchase, but only where the design permits. Ask Blue Nile about the specific eternity ring you want, and get sized before you order.
Does Blue Nile's warranty cover wedding bands?
It covers gold and platinum jewelry with a purchase price of $1,000.00 or more against manufacturing defects, for as long as you own the jewelry. Lost, chipped or damaged diamonds or gemstones aren't covered, so a band below that price, or a lost stone on any band, falls outside it.
How long do you have to return a wedding ring to Blue Nile?
The return policy page says you must start a return within 30 days of the shipment date, counted from shipment rather than delivery, and the ring must be unworn. The product listings show a longer window, so ask customer service which one applies before you buy.
Does Blue Nile charge shipping on wedding rings?
No. Blue Nile says every order ships free with no minimum. How fast it arrives depends on order value: Overnight for orders over $500, two-day for orders under $500.
