Buy the 18K White Gold 6.5 in. Diamond Line Tennis Bracelet (2 ct. tw.) at $2,995. It has twice the diamond weight of the 1-carat version at $1,995 for about half again the money. It's one of only two bracelets here listed as G/H color, the grade we'd want against white metal, and per carat it sits near the bottom of the ten we worked through. The catch is the length: 6.5 inches.
Everything here comes from Brilliant Earth's own listings and a product-feed sample of diamond tennis bracelets we read on 23 October: listed prices for part of the range, not the whole catalog or what anyone paid, and none of the listings gives a cut grade.
Key takeaways
- •Our pick is the 18k white gold Diamond Line at 2 ct tw for $2,995: double the weight of the 1-carat version at $1,995, with G/H color and SI clarity stated.
- •Of the ten bracelets we worked through, the 1-carat and the 10-carat cost the most per carat. Everything from 2 to 7 carats sits in a much tighter band.
- •Across all the listings we read, prices ran from $1,995 to $26,200, with a median of $4,748.
- •The link-style Diamond Tennis Bracelet listings leave color and clarity blank. The Line and Classic listings fill them in.
- •The metal medians mix every carat weight and length, so they aren't a metal price. The same 3-carat design is $4,695 in 18k yellow gold and $5,750 in platinum.
What does a carat cost at Brilliant Earth?
Across the listings we read, the lowest price was $1,995, the median $4,748 and the highest $26,200. The ten bracelets below include the lowest-priced and the highest-priced of those listings, which makes them a fair map of where the money goes.
| Bracelet | Metal | Carats (tw), stones | Length, width | Color / clarity listed | Listed price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Diamond Line (1 ct) | 18k white gold | 1 ct, 86 stones | 7 in long, 1/14 in wide | G/H, SI | $1,995 |
| Diamond Line (2 ct) | 18k white gold | 2 ct, 61 stones | 6.5 in long, a tenth of an inch wide | G/H, SI | $2,995 |
| Diamond Classic (2 ct) | 14k yellow gold | 2 ct, 82 stones | 7 in long, 1/15 in wide | F/G, SI | $3,395 |
| Diamond Classic (3 ct) | 14k yellow gold | 3 ct, 53 stones | 5.5 in long, a tenth of an inch wide | F/G, SI | $4,295 |
| Diamond Tennis (3 ct) | 18k yellow gold | 3 ct minimum, 52 stones | 6.5 in long, 1/8 in wide | Not stated | $4,695 |
| Diamond Tennis (3 ct) | Platinum | 3 ct minimum, 52 stones | 6.5 in long, 1/8 in wide | Not stated | $5,750 |
| Diamond Tennis (4 ct) | 18k yellow gold | 4 ct minimum, 45 stones | 6.5 in long, 1/8 in wide | Not stated | $6,000 |
| Diamond Tennis (5 ct) | 18k yellow gold | 5 ct minimum, 49 stones | 7 in long, 1/8 in wide | Not stated | $7,700 |
| Diamond Classic (7 ct) | 14k yellow gold | 7 ct, 55 stones | 7.5 in long, 1/8 in wide | F/G, SI | $12,100 |
| Diamond Tennis (10 ct) | Platinum | 10 ct minimum, 39 stones | 7 in long, 1/6 in wide | Not stated | $26,200 |
Divide each price by its carat weight and the pattern is plain. The 1-carat Line and the 10-carat platinum piece are the two most expensive per carat. Everything from 2 to 7 carats lands in a much tighter band. Lowest per carat of the ten we worked through: the 3-carat Classic in 5.5 inches, then the 2-carat Line and the 4-carat link bracelet, those last two almost level.
The listings don't say why the ends cost more. The stone counts do show how differently these bracelets will read on a wrist. The 1-carat spreads its weight over 86 diamonds; the 10-carat uses 39, so each stone is far larger. Move up the range and a row of glints becomes a row of actual stones.
Is the thin white gold Line bracelet enough?
The two Diamond Line bracelets are the only white gold pieces of the ten, and the only ones listed as G/H color. Brilliant Earth describes a "continuous line setting that wraps around the wrist", with each stone "held individually along the line setting", SI clarity and a box clasp with a fold-over safety catch.

The 1-carat is for someone who wants a fine line of light, not a statement. At 1/14 inch it's about as wide as a strand of spaghetti, with 86 stones doing the work. At $1,995 it's the lowest-priced of every listing we read. Per carat, though, it's the second most expensive bracelet here.

This is the one we'd buy. The 2-carat Line costs $2,995 for 61 stones on a row a tenth of an inch wide: fewer, bigger stones on a slightly wider line. G/H is the color we'd pick for white metal anyway. SI in stones this small is a sensible place to save, because nobody looks at a tennis bracelet through a loupe. The trade-off is fit. It's listed at 6.5 inches, half an inch shorter than the 1-carat.
Why pay for F/G color in yellow gold?
The Classic bracelets here are all 14k yellow gold, prong set, and listed as F/G color and SI clarity. The copy promises "a classic, shining, glamorous, eye-catching look", which would fit any bracelet sold this century. The specs tell you more.
Our view: yellow gold warms the stones it holds, so a color grade near the top of the scale mostly buys a line on the listing. We'd happily take a lower grade in yellow gold for less money. None of the three Classic listings here offers one. That's a reason to shrug, not to walk away.

The 2-carat Classic is the fine one. At $3,395 it's the narrowest bracelet in the set at 1/15 inch, with 82 stones held by individual prongs, according to Brilliant Earth. Against the 2-carat Line it's the same weight, a different metal and a higher listed color, for more money. It also comes at 7 inches rather than 6.5, which may matter more than any of that.

- metal:
- 14k Yellow Gold
- carat weight:
- 3 ct tw
- diamond weight (per feed):
- 3 ct tw
- setting:

The 3-carat Classic at $4,295 is the cheapest of all ten per carat, and the catch is in the name: 5.5 inches. That's a small wrist. Brilliant Earth says it crafts "each tennis bracelet with slightly varied carat weights to perfect sizing", so a longer Classic wouldn't be the same 3 carats.

- metal:
- 14k Yellow Gold
- carat weight:
- 7 ct tw
- diamond weight (per feed):
- 7 ct tw
- setting:
- prong
Need length? The 7-carat at $12,100 is the longest here at 7.5 inches, with 55 stones on a 1/8-inch row. It costs more per carat than the 3-carat Classic and still sits well below the 10-carat platinum piece.
The link bracelets: bigger stones, blank grades
The bracelets Brilliant Earth calls plain "Diamond Tennis Bracelet" are prong set, with diamonds "individually set in lustrous links" or in a "continuous link chain design", and a box clasp with a safety closure. Weight is given as a floor, as in "a minimum of 3 ct. tw." Color and clarity aren't stated at all, which makes them hard to line up against the Line and Classic pieces.
This is also where you get the one clean metal comparison. The 3-carat bracelet comes in 18k yellow gold at $4,695 and in platinum at $5,750, and the two descriptions match word for word: 52 stones in a 4-prong setting, 6.5 inches long, 1/8 inch wide.

- metal:
- 18k Yellow Gold
- carat weight:
- 3 ct tw
- diamond weight (per feed):
- 3 ct tw
- setting:
- prong

- metal:
- Platinum
- carat weight:

- diamond weight (per feed):

Platinum is the metal we'd want holding the stone in an engagement ring, and four prongs on every stone makes a similar case here. But a bracelet comes off at night, and it doesn't do decades of dishwashing. We'd take the 18k yellow and keep the difference. Our guide to Platinum vs. White Gold covers the metals themselves.

- metal:
- 18k Yellow Gold
- carat weight:
- 4 ct tw
- diamond weight (per feed):
- 4 ct tw
- setting:
- prong
If you want the bracelet noticed, the 4-carat in 18k yellow gold at $6,000 is the link bracelet we'd pick. Per carat it's almost level with our 2-carat Line, with 45 larger stones in the same 6.5 inches. It's our second choice overall, and the only thing holding it back is the blank where the grades should be.

- metal:
- 18k Yellow Gold
- carat weight:
- 5 ct tw
- diamond weight (per feed):
- 5 ct tw
- setting:
- prong
The 5-carat at $7,700 gets you to 7 inches with 49 stones. Brilliant Earth says it's "sized for a fixed, precise fit".

- metal:
- Platinum
- carat weight:
- 10 ct tw
- diamond weight (per feed):
- 10 ct tw
- setting:
- prong
Then the 10-carat platinum at $26,200, the highest price of any listing we read. It's the widest here at 1/6 inch, with 39 stones set "edge to edge", per the listing. Twice the weight of the 5-carat for more than three times the price makes it the most expensive per carat by a distance. With color and clarity unstated, that's a lot of money for a grade nobody has told you.
Is platinum really cheaper than 14k gold here?
The metal medians look backwards at first. Platinum's median is $5,750, below the 14k white gold and 14k yellow gold medians of $5,800 and $5,800. And 18k white gold has the lowest median of all, at $3,595.
| Metal | Listings we read | Median listed price |
|---|---|---|
| Platinum | 23 | $5,750 |
| 14k white gold | 25 | $5,800 |
| 14k yellow gold | 26 | $5,800 |
| 18k yellow gold | 13 | $4,695 |
| 14k rose gold | 8 | $4,045 |
| 18k white gold | 25 | $3,595 |
Platinum isn't the cheap metal. Each median is the middle price of whatever carat weights and lengths that metal happened to turn up in, so a metal listed mostly on light bracelets looks inexpensive. Where one design appears in two metals, as with the 3-carat link bracelet, platinum costs more. The medians tell you where most of the range sits; the matched pair tells you about the metal.
Who should skip all ten
If you want the most diamond for the money, start with lab-grown. None of these ten names say lab-grown, and when size is the point, lab is the sane route. Our roundup of Best Lab Diamond Tennis Bracelets covers that side. Natural is a fine choice too, made for its own reasons.
Skip the 5.5-inch Classic unless it fits, however good its per-carat figure looks. And if your wrists spend the day knocking against desks, remember that any tennis bracelet is a row of small settings and one clasp, and the clasp is what keeps the whole thing on your arm. Our Tennis Bracelet Buying Guide goes through clasps and fit.
Three things to pin down before you pay
- Which lengths your chosen design comes in, and at what weight and price, since Brilliant Earth says carat weights vary from size to size.
- Color and clarity for any of the link bracelets, whose listings leave them out.
- The return window on a bracelet at your price, and how it's counted.
Where we'd put the money
We'd start with the 2-carat Diamond Line in 18k white gold at $2,995 and only move if 6.5 inches doesn't fit. If it doesn't, the 1-carat at $1,995 is the 7-inch fallback in the same style: a worse rate per carat, a smaller bill. For yellow gold and a bracelet people notice, the 4-carat link at $6,000 comes next, blank grades and all. The 10-carat we'd leave to people for whom price isn't the question.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a Brilliant Earth diamond tennis bracelet cost?
Of the listings we read on 23 October, the lowest was $1,995, the median $4,748 and the highest $26,200. The lowest was a 1-carat Line bracelet in 18k white gold; the highest, a 10-carat bracelet in platinum.
What color and clarity are Brilliant Earth tennis bracelet diamonds?
That comes down to the design. The Diamond Line bracelets are listed as G/H color and SI clarity, the Classic bracelets as F/G and SI. The link-style Diamond Tennis Bracelet listings we read don't state color or clarity.
Which Brilliant Earth tennis bracelet costs least per carat?
Of the ten we worked through, the 5.5-inch 3-carat Classic in 14k yellow gold at $4,295 was lowest per carat, with the 2-carat Line at $2,995 and the 4-carat 18k yellow link bracelet at $6,000 close behind. That 5.5-inch length rules the Classic out for most wrists, which is why we'd pick the 2-carat Line.
Is platinum worth it for a tennis bracelet?
On the one design listed in both metals, the 3-carat link bracelet is $5,750 in platinum and $4,695 in 18k yellow gold. Platinum is what we'd want holding the stone in a ring. For a bracelet that comes off at night, we'd keep the difference.
Does a different length change the price?
Each bracelet is listed at a set length. Brilliant Earth says it crafts each tennis bracelet with slightly varied carat weights from size to size, so a different length means a different total weight. The listings we read don't say whether a bracelet can be resized after purchase.
